September 11, 2023, Rocky Hill, CT: An exciting culinary experience opened on September 6, 2023, at 397 Cromwell Avenue in Rocky Hill, CT. Ani’s Table & Marketplace, a new retail food destination, is presented by Chef/Caterer Ani Robaina. Located in the former DiFiore Ravioli Shop, a beloved family-owned and operated Italian market for over 40 years, Chef Ani has transformed the space into a prepared foods, espresso bar, pantry, and home goods market, an oasis for home entertaining and for those who simply want to incorporate eating well into their busy lifestyle.
Food enthusiasts can enjoy a welcoming market filled with Chef Ani’s scratch-prepared foods including a variety of sauces, seasonal soups and salads, Chef Ani’s signature international fare, locally sourced produce, and artisan products such as DiFiore Ravioli! The espresso bar features Chef Ani’s proprietary espresso blends, roasted by CT’s Shearwater Coffee Company, which are sold in ground and bean form, as well as transformed into your morning cup of joe and Chef Ani’s popular sweet and creamy Vietnamese coffee.
In addition to Chef Ani’s Table & Marketplace prepared food selections, its market shelves are filled with specialty pantry ingredients, meats and cheeses, and fresh produce and flowers, much of which is sourced from local farms and artisans, along with merchandise and foods from Mierco Italian Linens, Rubirosa Olive Oil, Pasta and Sauces, the CT Flower Collective, Difiori Ravioli, and La Narval seafood specialties. Playful “Birds & Desserts” culinary artwork by local artists Dora Dylanne Reyes and Don Carter adorn the walls and are for sale.

Chef Ani Robaina classically trained at the famed French Culinary Institute and has cooked with some of the culinary world’s most respected chefs, including Chef Douglas Rodriguez, Chef David Bouley, and Chef Monique Barbeau at the James Beard Award-Winning Fuller’s Restaurant at the Seattle Sheraton before ultimately becoming the Executive Chef at the prestigious Pond House Café in West Hartford, CT. Ani’s Table Distinctive Food & Catering launched in 2019, taking an innovative approach to event planning and catering with a flair for stunning food arrangements, seasonally inspired menus, vibrant tableware, linens, silk flower arrangements, and unique packaging. Chef Robaina is a regular guest chef at Weekend Kitchen in Essex, CT, where she conducts delicious theme dinners under the store’s festive tent and cooking classes in their kitchen showroom.
