On Sunday, November 15, Chef Chirnomula will be closing the doors of his flagship Thali restaurant on Main Street in New Canaan. This stunning restaurant, bar and event space opened its doors in 1998, introducing customers to this relatively new cuisine, making its mark on local food enthusiasts. The closing of the large restaurant space merely allows Chef Chirnomula the opportunity to open a different, more intimate restaurant in New Canaan where folks will still be able to enjoy Thali’s elevated Indian cuisine.

To celebrate this new chapter, starting Monday, November 9 Thali will be presenting a week-long celebration to honor its loyal customers and showcase the dishes that have made this establishment one of the most celebrated Indian restaurants in the country. Beginning Monday, November 9th, Thali will feature one-night only specials like Lobster Vindaloo, Hyderabadi Biryani, My Mother’s Goat Curry, Goan Prawn Balchao & Prawn Peri Peri, Kerala Fish Curry, and of course their signature lamb chops.

As a final, climactic bow, Thali New Canaan will host "Brunch without Limits" on Sunday, Nov.15th. The event will star live chefs creating signature Thali dishes and breads to order. The event will also feature music and open bar.
