FEBRUARY 10, 2019, GREENWICH, CT: LuLu Restaurant introduces real Chinese food to Greenwich, CT in the form of classic recipes and healthy ingredients. An original concept by restaurateur Jody Pennette, LuLu transforms everyone’s favorite Chinese dishes into lighter and brighter versions of its Americanized counterpart.  
The approach is a simple one; classic Chinese recipes prepared with natural healthy ingredients, vegetables that are organic and locally grown, wild and line-caught fish, organic and humanely raised beef, organic free-range chicken, vegetarian fed pork, and LuLu’s pledge to only using ingredients free off growth hormones, antibiotics, and artificial flavors. LuLu takes favorite Chinese-American comfort food and adapts it for how people prefer to eat today.
The LuLu kitchen is spearheaded by award-winning Chef Peter How. Chef How, upon competing against 172 international chefs, including Micheline Star powerhouses, took home two silver medals and was ultimately awarded the Gold Medal at the 2016 Taiwan World Chef Championship.  A curator for chefs directly from Hong Kong, Chef How, and his talented team create LuLu’s organic Chinese dishes. 

Menu highlights include; hot & sour soup with organic silken tofu and enoki mushrooms; firecracker spring rolls with organic chicken, vegetables, peanuts, and spicy mustard; spicy beef bao buns with crispy onion and wasabi mayonnaise; Shanghai soup dumplings with local vegetables and Berkshire pork; classic Peking duck (air-dried free range duck ) served with green onion, cucumber, pancakes, and hoisin sauce; ginger & scallion wok lobster with soy sauce, ginger, and scallion; Singapore noodles with peppers, bean sprouts, and tamari; and LuLu’s popular spicy fried rice topped with an organic fried egg and crispy shallots.
LuLu is an intimate Chinese restaurant and bar. Its sleek interior and minimalist décor is punctuated with high-top communal tables, butterscotch leatherback seating, and subdue drop lighting. The beverage program features craft cocktails, Asian beer, and premium sake selections.
Delivery is available to nearby locations via a hot, insulated carrier case.
