Norwalk Now - Seeing 2020

Published January 17th 2020
"A City on the Move" is how Norwalk Now describes Norwalk. We like to describe Norwalk Now as a support arm for Norwalk businesses with the goal of promoting this amazing city of ours. But, Norwalk Now is also "on the move", striving to bring residents and visitors the best that this amazing coastal community has to offer, as well as providing business owners with an outlet from which to market their business.

2019 saw the re-introduction and refresh of the Norwalk Now brand. Thank you to our sponsor Norwalk Parking Authority for supporting us and allowing us to move forward with a new real-time data website, powered by our partners at GoNation. Due to the added support of the City of Norwalk, Mayor Harry Rilling, Economic and Community Development, and the newly formed Business Development and Tourism department, Norwalk Now was made available to restaurants, retailers, attractions, and lifestyle brands at NO COST. That's right, businesses can sign-up with Norwalk Now and receive their own business page on the NN website, calendar inclusion on the recurring and special event pages, participation in Norwalk Now produced events, promotional event and collaborations, social media posts on our growing platforms, and media inclusion opportunities - FOR FREE!

Norwalk Now is looking forward to 2020. In addition to growing our family of businesses, we're bringing back some of your favorite events and adding a few new ones along the way.
In celebration of National Margarita Day, Norwalk restaurants and bars present Margarita Crawl 2020 - February 22. Margarita lovers, tequila enthusiasts, and spirited consumers are invited to enjoy specially priced $5 margaritas at some of their favorite gathering places throughout the city.

A request from many of our social media followers and feedback from business owners was to incorporate some family-friendly events. We heard you! got kids? A Family Fun Weekend takes place April 4-5 (Dates subject to change - additional weekdays may be added). Norwalk businesses will offer special events and promotions geared towards kids and enjoyable for the entire family, from dining specials and entertainment to retail offers and activities. Stay tuned...

One of the most anticipated events of the year from Norwalk Now is coming up on
April 25 - Norwalk City Hunt, our Amazing Race throughout the SoNo and Wall Street neighborhoods where teams solve the clue, complete the challenge, and race to the after-party! Teams of 4 - limited to 120 people (30 teams). Sign-up begins in March.
