New All-Day Fall Menu Features House-Smoked, Scratch-Made, Always Fresh BBQ, Sandwiches, Salads, and Low-Country Favorites

Fairfield County first came to know Chef Judith Roll, this larger than life chef, in 2009 when she introduced her healthful Middle Eastern restaurant Tabouli Grill to Stamford, CT. In the summer of 2015 Stamford residents were treated to a second food concept by this outgoing local chef, revealing another side to her culinary prowess with the addition of Judy’s Bar & Kitchen. Judy’s is pure Americana wrapped in casual surroundings for a neighborhood that’s on the move.
Located on bustling High Ridge Road amidst a mostly retail and residential neighborhood, Judy’s focus is in keeping with her signature from-scratch cooking, the main ingredient that made Tabouli Grill such a success.

The atmosphere at Judy’s can be described as easy and comfortable, a neighborhood eatery with a convivial bar. Butcher block tables and antique kitchen equipment décor are reminiscent of a diner one might find in the Carolina low-country. An active bar scene ensues during happy hour, live performance by local musicians, sports watching, and late night gatherings.
 
Menu highlights include tasty apps such as; pickled shrimp cocktail; garlic chili lime edamame; and “Big By You” nachos with brisket, veg or beef chili, pulled pork, or BBQ chicken. Overstuffed sandwiches go the way of crispy chicken & bacon cheddar waffle sandwich (winner BEST SANDWICH Greenwich Wine  & Food Festival 2016), and a pulled pork Cubano with smoked pulled pork, ham, gruyere, whole grain mustard, house pickles and jalapeños grilled on sourdough bread.  Salad lovers can enjoy fresh and seasonal creations as seen with the Asian quinoa spinach salad with choice of smoked meats or grilled seafood. Juicy, grass-fed beef and turkey burgers, St. Louis ribs, 12-hour brisket, and BBQ chicken are in good company with Judy’s signature corn bread, creamy mac & cheese, crunchy slaw, and cheesy grits. Cool weather favorites include; chicken pot pie; Louisiana crab cakes; The Best country buttermilk fried chicken; and beer battered fish and chips.
 
A revolving selection of craft beer is offered, in addition to Judy’s creative cocktail menu which includes her award-winning cocktail from Stamford Magazine’s Best Bartender Contest this past June, the Bourbon Peach Pie.
